THE ONE BEHIND THE CAMERA

Hey everyone! My name is Daria Hofbauer and I am 23 years old. I originally got into photography my sophomore year of high school when I randomly decided to take a photography class and I instantly fell in love! I continued to take classes until my senior year and was gifted my first DSLR camera as a graduation present. I would constantly ask my friends to be my models, then one day my friend’s sister asked me to do her engagement photos. Of course I said yes! It never occurred to me that I could make this hobby into a job, but once I photographed her engagement session I realized this was something I absolutely loved to do and had to keep doing. Ever since high school I have had such a great passion for this art. I love that it allows me to express my creativity while also capturing moments for so many different people and events! Weddings, engagements, pregnancies, births, senior portraits, and so much more are high milestones in people’s lives. Being able to document those moments for people to have and cherish forever means the world to me!

Ask anyone who knows me and they will tell you I am such a sucker for romance and a good love story. I love love! I also absolutely adore kids and animals, which is why I do not focus on just weddings and engagements. I am available for everything from couple shoots to maternity shoots to weddings to one on one sessions with your pup! You name it and I can photograph it.

My style of photography is capturing raw, authentic moments for you and your loved one(s). While I will take some “traditional” smiling photos, I really think the best shots are those that come from you just being yourself and pretending like the camera isn’t there. I know that sounds difficult for some people; trust me, everyone always says “I am so awkward!” but I promise that after just a few minutes you will become more comfortable and will really be able to relax and enjoy the experience! Of course I will help guide you in this and won’t just make you stare at each other and wing it haha I want this to be a stress-free and fun experience for everyone!
